PinoySG Badminton Club unveils new Logo and presents Officers (Badheadz) for 2008

PinoySG Badminton Club held its annual members general assembly last April 5, 2008 at Woodlands Sports Hall with 34 members present. The meeting was started with a prayer lead by Mr. Sonny Argate.
Badheadz present on meeting to discuss the following topics were Emil, Elma, Gary, Mollie, Speed and Toni

3. Officers Nomination for year 2008
4. Future Plans and activities
5. Open Forum
Last April 19, 2008, the elected officers or badheadz were announced to all the members. As per parliamentary procedure the badheadz elected Gary Cristobal as club head for year 2008.

Part of this election is the presentation of the new logo of PinoySG Badminton Club designed by graphic artist Joel Chua Dy. This flame shape logo represents the badminton passion that ignites and continuously blazes the enthusiasm of our hearts. The human form represents the players while the blue and red wave symbolizes harmony and camaraderie that the club promotes. Overall, yellow, blue and red, adapts the colors of our Philippine flag.
Future plans were presented to all the members which includes a weekly Badminton Clinic to be conducted and guided by Mr. Vic Nale , Club Head Coach.
{mosgoogle left}An Intercolor Badminton Tournament will also be started this June as an exclusive competition of club’s members. Each group will have their team color and will be competing with other teams for a period of time. The objective of this activity, is to inspire and develop the badminton skills of the members.
A Dual Meet with some of the popular badminton groups here in Singapore is also part of the future plan. This is basically focused on the advance players who want to enhance their skills.
